Ninjala is an online multiplayer action video game developed by GungHo Online Entertainment that is free-to-play on the Nintendo Switch. The game features a flamboyant cast of young ninjas who engage in melee combat while free-running across vast environments. From its initial launch in 2020, GungHo has consistently released updates for Ninjala in the form of “Seasons” which are periods of time in the game that contain unique themes as well as new weapons, stages, and music. The music is designed to reflect the nature of each season and supports the fun, energetic quality of the gameplay.
Beginning in Season 4 of Ninjala, Gungho Entertainment Online brought on Emperia Sound and Music to produce songs for the game. Emperia Sound and Music composed music for Season 4 (Winter), Season 6 (Heroes & Villains), Season 7 (Horror), Season 8 (Animal), and Season 12. Each season brought on new musical talent, collaborating with producer and DJ, Matt Lange (Mau5trap, Anjunabeats, Armada Music, Monstercat), nerdcore artist and rapper Omega Sparx, Alec Justice, Queens’ Road, Gina Kouyoumdjian, Brandon Seliga, Arun Ganapathy, and most recently LEX THe Lexicon Artist.
