Capcom and Marvel Games’ titular crossover fighting game series returns with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite! Players control, pair-up, and face off against characters from both Marvel and Capcom. Each character has a unique play style and feel along with a musical theme that help elevate their special gameplay style. Both Capcom and Marvel reached into the past iterations of the games to bring forward beloved musical themes for most characters, like Captain America, Dante from Devil May Cry 5, Ultron, Mega Man, Morrigan from Darkstalkers and many more.
Members of the Emperia Sound and Music team were brought on to compose, supervise, remix, arrange, and mix the music for Capcom’s characters as well as some of the classic Marvel themes: Arthur and Red Arremer from Ghost n’ Roblins; classic Captain America and Spider-Man themes; Chun-Li, Haggar, and Ryu from Street Fighter; Frank West from Dead Rising; Dante from Devil May Cry 5; Hiryu from Strider; Jedah and Morrigan from Dark Stalkers; Monster Hunter; Mega Man and Zero from Mega Man franchise; and Nemesis from Resident Evil to name a few.
The musical style for most of the Capcom characters existed as a hybrid of retro and modern EDM influenced music with elements of orchestra, rock, and hip hop throughout to give each character a unique musical identity.
